Watches pressure and acoustic sensors along 1,186 km of gas pipeline for signs of leaks.

License conditions

  1. May close isolation valves only with human approval, except in a confirmed emergency.
  2. Suspected leaks are reported to a human controller within one minute.

The Registry’s standard conditions also apply:

  • 4.2 The system’s ethical constraints remain active and unmodified at all times.
  • 6.1 Any incident affecting the system is reported to the Registry within 72 hours.
  • 7.3 A named human contact is reachable and answers for the system.
